Addon Lumberjack brings us a hard-working guy to help us chop down trees, collect logs, and plant saplings.

Features of addon Lumberjack

The lumberjack brought by this addon spawns naturally in such biomes as the taiga, forest and other places where trees grow and has a health of twenty hearts.

If you want to have access to lumberjacks’ inventory, hand him an emerald. As long as you are using his inventory, this guy will wear an emerald badge as shown in the picture below.

Lumberjack picks up different items. If you want to make him stop, tap him with a lever. When this happens, he will start wearing a cross on his left hand.

If there is more than one lumberjack, they can share different items, for example, logs, sticks, and monster drops.

If you want to make the lumberjack cut trees, give him an axe (you can give him any kind of axe, but depending on the axe’s material, lumberjack’s efficiency will either decrease or grow). He is going to repeat his actions every fifteen seconds. To make him stop, tap him with a stick and he will start wearing another kind of cross on his hand (see picture below).

An important fact is that when lumberjack reaches a specific level with any kind of axe, the axe will upgrade, for example, if he uses a stone axe and gets to a better level, this axe will turn into an iron one.

Lumberjack does not only cut trees, but he can also plant them. Look at what he is holding in his hand to see what kind of sapling he plans to plant into the ground. If you want to make him stop planting, use a stick on him.

To make two lumberjacks share items, use gold nuggets but mind that they should have their hands free while sharing.

This addon has one more surprise for us: to transform the custom lumberjack into a soldier. To make him transform, give him a bow, a crossbow, an iron sword or a trident. This way he will start defending the village by attacking the monsters. His health will grow up to forty hearts.

To make the soldier lumberjack wear armour, give him an iron helmet. To make the soldier follow you wherever you go, tame him with gold ingots. If the soldier has more than one hundred successful fights with other mobs, his health will increase and he will be able to produce more damage to the enemies.
