Minecraft PE 1.16.10

During the last week we were given the opportunity to try Minecraft PE 1.16.20.52 and Minecraft PE 1.16.20.53, two betas bringing not many, but important changes to the game. Since a week passed, we started to wait another beta with more fixes and perhaps some interesting changes. The MCPE developers did release a beta called Minecraft PE 1.16.10, but it contains one single fix of the broken trading screen slots affecting the mobile phone users.

The Mojang team took advantage of the present version to make a very important announcement: they are ending their support for a number of older devices used for playing MCPE. This decision was taken because they thought it is more important to focus and devote their time and resources to those platforms where most of the Crafters are playing.

This news means that if you want to benefit from the upcoming game updates and other MCPE-related advantages, you should think about getting a newer device. This advice is for you if:

• You are playing MCPE using an Android, a Windows 10 Mobile, or a Gear VR with 768MB of RAM or less
• You are playing using iOS 10 or below
• You are using a video card that supports DirectX 10.1 or below.
