The Guard Villager add-on represents a brand new entity. The Guard is actually a mob which can spawn randomly in your Minecraft world. Its task is to take care of the villagers and to ensure their safe living. E.g. if the Guard tracks any inimical mob as a zombie or a spider, it will attack it right away.

How does Guard Villager Add-on work?

The present entity has the ability to spawn randomly anytime except the nighttime. If you want your Guard to spawn during the night, you will have to use the “Guard Villager spawn egg”. You can also do this by using the /summon command.

The Guard Villager’s mission is to shelter the villagers from inimical mobs (zombies, spiders).
