Addon Strider 1.13

While the creator of Addon Strider was working on his project, Minecraft PE 1.16.0.57 was released. If you are a loyal follower of our website, perhaps you remember that it brought two new mobs: Zoglins and Striders.  Because the strider has already become a vanilla entity, the addon creator made some modifications so the mob introduced by the present addon is slightly different.

Features of addon Strider

The striders are mobs that are mad about lava and can’t stand water. In case you were wondering how to pass a lava lake, this cute mob is the perfect solution. This is why some call it “the nether boat”.

Striders like to eat warped fungus and carrots or both of these food items on sticks. You will have access to them if you enable Experimental Gameplay. By feeding a strider with these foods, you will help it regenerate hunger and boost if it is still a baby.

To get on a strider’s back and ride it, you will have to saddle it first. To do this, long click on the mob and use any of the above-mentioned foods on a stick to control it.

Upon death, striders drop up to five strings and a saddle in case it was saddled before passing away.

Like we already mentioned, striders do not like water at all because it hurts them. They can live on the ground, but they look grey and are shaking. Their big love and the perfect environment is the Nether lava, where they become red and look happy.
